Major achievements in recent years (3 years):

In the last three fiscal years (2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22), 35031 classrooms have been constructed in public and private secondary schools and madrasas. Moreover, 3421 classrooms have been constructed in public and private colleges (285 canteens, 285 meeting rooms, 285 ICT labs and 2281 classrooms). 1091 classrooms have been constructed in secondary schools and madrasas in backward areas. A total of 72 hostels which includes 54 for male/female students in government colleges and 18 for students have been constructed for accommodation of students. 9502 buildings of public and private educational institutions have been repaired and renovated. 19200 toilets for girl students and 3445 ramps for students with special needs have been constructed. Besides, schools and colleges under various projects of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Construction of madrasa buildings under Directorate of Madrasa Education and construction of buildings of Vocational Institutes, Polytechnic Institutes and Engineering Colleges under various projects of Directorate of Technical Education and Various buildings have been constructed under the University Grants Commission. Furniture has been provided to 1501 Secondary / Higher Secondary Schools.
